midori's concept is basically hacking one's mind with a particular kind of 'code' and she presents this code in terms of a very simple language and then prompts you to run this code, but technically speaking this code runs as commands or suggestions to yourself and your brain creates the new associations or pathways in its network which leads to new experiences or outputs... this can be likened to hacking or creating a software for yourself, which modifies your mind.
one way we can formalize or evolve this is to treat the mind and reality as software. like an open platform that is programmable. the more i read of her work the more i feel this concept has merit to it. but its more of a framework to work from, not the actual thing, that you get through immersing in it enough and training yourself to recognize this process as an inherent part of yourself, so you can use this as a tool and start writing new software, for yourself, of reality...
midori says she's hacking you with code and yes you could say thats true to some extent as these commands are influencing the way you think. you have 'software' running inside yourself and all this stuff can change how you perceive yourself and your experiences in this reality. thats what's fascinating, but what i want to get out of it is not to be swayed or convinced. that wouldnt align with my intentions at all, to just have some new commands running and think differently just for the sake of it. the idea is more of understanding this whole process as one. its not an external process happening, it's something intrinsic that can be leveraged to influence what's perceived externally and that's why understanding what code means can lead us towards more clarity. its a very basic concept but can take years of practice and exploration, i know a lot about these ideas and have a lot to share about them as i understand them much more than midori or any of her works, and have found similar things in various areas that also link towards a similar perspective and theme. and what's even more interesting is that once you realize and can observe how your thoughts, experiences and perception can be modified this way, that its just another layer to a much more complex software which has been designed for a lot more purposes and that all these things fit into.
so that's essentially it. what she describes is a basic framework to think about which can evolve to so much more as soon as its properly understood in the correct way, rather than being swayed by suggestion in the wrong direction...
